ABOUT THE MONDRIANS
The Mondrians have that kind of energy that you yearn for from young guitar bands. They attack their instruments in a similar way to The Libertines and early (pre-ego) Razorlight. But lets forget the references for a second because these boys arnt just making noisy garage punk, right from the get-go they have created there own distinct style. While musically they might be ferocious at times, lyrically and vocally they bring an original European quirk. They recorded their debut in Spain during the summer of '08 with Gordon Raphael (producer of the Strokes and Regina Spektor), and the record has all the excitement, zeal, and charm of a classic indie debut.
