ABOUT THE NIGHT BEATS

This three piece from Seattle and Texas are one of the most exciting things we've heard for years. Their debut EP H-Bomb can conjure memories or the intentional looseness of the 13th Floor Elevators, but Night Beats achieve a raw, primal ferocity that they never reached. The blistering guitars and scattered vocals paint psychedelic soundscapes that are almost frightening at times. But with Night Beats there is also an earthy tribal backbeat that runs through their music, which just makes them all the more interesting.
